Taking Some Time to Grieve

by tkbrown

I will be absent from my site for a few days. Two of my siblings have passed away in three weeks, and I am allowing myself some time to grieve. I will be back with everyone soon. Please continue to peruse my site, read posts you have not read before, don’t forget to “Like,]” and “Comment.” I look forward to reading your comments when I return.

Thank You for your understanding during this time. Blessings to all!

I believe family is a gift from God and should be treated as such. I love writing with a broad array of intent and purpose. I have written poetry virtually all my life, and much nonfiction in academia. My expanded efforts in all areas have finally taken off in retirement. I have much to accomplish now that I have the time. Other hobbies are painting, researching ancestry and myriad topics for my writing, knitting, crocheting, cooking -- always trying new recipes and always cooking for my health. I have many other hobbies, but these seem to dominate most of my time. Oh, did I mention I am the mother of three grown children and grandmother of seven. I have been blessed immensely and am the happier for it.https://twitter.com/tkbrownwriter/photo

      1. Thank You again. I have been so busy I haven’t had time to dwell on it this past week, and it looks like next week will be the same. Maybe that is God’s way of giving me a break from the grieving. He does do things like that for people who seek His righteousness. That is my goal. Taking the time to allow the feelings helped a lot. I think I am on the mend, but grieving takes a long time. It will come and go for some time. I have faith God and Jesus will pull me through it and carry me if need be. Blessings!

    1. Thank You for the kind words, prayers and compassion. My strength comes through Him for certain. He has blessed me with peers who understand when time needs to be taken for communion with Him to rejuvenate. Thank You so very much! Blessings!
